The house was completed in November 2003.
The condensing boiler has been serviced annually and works perfectly. In 2021 and 2022, the owners renewed or installed cost-intensive glow igniters with ionization electrodes, expansion tanks, valve inserts for three-way valves, heat exchangers, and deflection pots.

The outdoor area was completely redesigned in 2008, 30 m² of hardwood Cumaru (30 years durability) on the sun terrace, granite paving in front of the house and on the paths, herb garden next to the kitchen door, kitchen terrace with granite slabs.

Falkensee is a popular, growing town with 45,000 inhabitants surrounded by forests and meadows, just outside the western gates of the capital.

Falkensee, district of Falkenhain has its own infrastructure: supermarkets, bank branches, post office, doctors, schools (e.g. comprehensive school, the Lise-Meitner and Vicco-von-Bülow high schools), kindergartens, the bakery for morning rolls (a few meters from the house) and the regional train station with a connection to Berlin city center in about 20 minutes.

Sufficient P+R spaces are available at 3 train stations for commuters. From here you can reach Spandau train station in just 10 minutes and Berlin Central Station in 20 minutes.

The Havelpark shopping center in Dallgow-Döberitz can be reached by bus or car in about 15 minutes.
The best way to reach the city of Berlin by car is about 30 minutes via the nearby Nauener Straße or the B5 in Dallgow-Döberitz.

Falkensee offers its residents many recreational opportunities. There is a forest pool, various football clubs, the sports club TSV, several sports fields, a skating rink. An indoor pool is currently under construction.
Bus lines 653 and 656 run not far from the house.
